Shipping Policy

Between Monday through Friday, most orders will be shipped within 2-3 business days, (although we always so our best to ship sooner). Since we offer a wide range of products on this site, due to shipping policies of some of our product lines or occasional out of stocks, there may be certain items that take a bit longer.

Many of our gourmet chocolate lines will generally ship same day if ordered prior to Noon EST.
NOTE: Fresh chocolate items are not shipped Friday to protect them from being stalled in transit and damaged over the weekend.

A few of our items will be shipped longer than 2-3 business days. If an order takes more than 4 days to ship we do our best to note this information in an email response to your order. We do our best to make sure that your order is processed promptly, so that you will receive it in the most timely fashion. If you have specific needs, feel free to make us aware by entering them into the information space on your order form. PLEASE NOTE: We do not ship on weekends.

Sometimes an item may become temporarily out of stock. If this occurs, we will contact you via email to be sure that you are ok with waiting for this item or offer you a choice alternative.


Shipping Gourmet Coffee

We roast and fill your orders the same day to ensure freshness. We roast and prepare your coffee for you when you order, usually within 2-3 days of the receipt of your order.

Please NOTE that other Branded Coffee Roasters, with brand names such as Klatch Coffee or Aloha Coffee will roast for you at their own facility and their coffee will ship separately from our roaster. If you select us and them, please select 'shipping of multiple coffee brands' during checking out process

We ship domestic packages using either Priority Mail or Fedex and the delivery time will vary from 2-7 business days from the date your order is shipped.

Priority Mail packages should arrive 2-3 days after being shipped (but timing not guaranteed).

2ND-Day or Next-Day Delivery orders will be shipped as requested. Once shipped, 2ND-Day will be guaranteed to arrive 2-3 business days of shipping. If you have a special rush, please notify us in the information box of your order, and we'll do our best to pay special attention.

CHOCOLATE: : If temps above 77F degrees, ship only "2nd Day" or "Overnight" to prevent melting.

International Orders: Select "International Shipping" . Appears as $0. We'll find the best rate for your order, and request approval before processed.



Shipping Gourmet Chocolate

Temperatures above the mid-high 70's cause chocolate to melt when shipped via ground.

Orders of Handmade Gourmet Chocolate during WARM MONTHS:

Gourmet Chocolate is usually higher in buttercream and fresh ingredients than most chocolate. It is sometimes handmade the day of the order. It requires special care in shipment.

These lines are very fragile so it is vital to ship their products EXPEDITED to keep them fresh.

In order to ensure that our chocolate is the freshest and best tasting chocolate you have ever experienced, specialty chocolates during months that consistently exceed 78 degrees are shipped either overnight or 2nd day air in order to protect your chocolate. Please understand that since chocolate is extemely perishable, there is a need to utilize expedited shipping methods. If you are not sure, select ground and we'll update you if there is a need for expedited shipping.

During warm months, hot temperatures require us to ship your chocolate 2nd day or overnight. If you do select ground shipping, and it is not suitable for keeping your chocolate in its best condition, we'll contact and notify you of need to change your shipping. If this is not suitable to your needs we'll then cancel your order.

For freshness guarantee of handmade chocolates and cakes, during the warmer months of May (or when mercury soars) to September, 2ND DAY AIR or OVERNIGHT SHIPPING will be utilized.

If gel packs are required for extra protection on our Handmade Gourmet Belgian Chocolate Spoons (these spoons only), we may add a small additional cost to your order. We will, certainly, let you know and get your approval in such a case

Shipping Prices

One brand of Gourmet Roasted Coffee placed on its own is priced for you at a maximum of $9.99 for any size coffee order. Select Ship one brand Coffee only when you order only coffee.

We try to be fair in shipping and estimate to the lower end of the shipping costs. However, shipping prices provided below are estimates. Some items may be exceptionally heavy. If the shipping costs are more than quoted, we will contact you before shipping your order. This will allow you to either accept cancel your order.

We opt to keep our shipping prices as fair as possible. 2ND-Day will arrive 2-3 days of shipping and Overnight will arrive the following day.

Shipment to your order to a P.O. Box is more difficult. Please use a physical street address if possible, so that FedEx or UPS can deliver to you.

IMPORTANT:When entering your information on your order page, make sure to use the correct billing address assigned to your credit card. Otherwise your credit card won't match your address. We would have to contact you via email for the accurate address. This will hinder order processing!

We do not guarantee delivery to incorrect shipping addresses.


International Orders

Gourmet CoffeeXpress does ship coffee and a few products internationally, and we always attempt to find the best rates for shipping. Thus, we will have to email you a shipping price quote at the time your order is placed. These shipping charges will be added to your order and charged, as soon as you give us approval via email or phone contact.


Backorder Policy

If your order cannot be filled for any reason, we will either subtract the items from your order and refund your credit card, or hold your order until the items are available for shipping, at our sole discretion. You will receive a notification by email of the status of your order.



Order Status

We provide Order Confirmation on orders. Tracking Numbers are provided when possible, when shipped via UPS or Fedex. You will receive an e-mail with this information shortly after your product ships. If you haven't received, but need a tracking number, please contact us.

APO orders and International orders will not be notified of tracking numbers.
